She received her education at the Conservatoire National de Paris and in 1902 made her debut at the Opéra-Comique in Paris. More than 25 years she had a successful career in this opera house. Her repertoire included Nedda in ‘’Pagliacci’’, Charlotte in ‘’Werther’’, Manon, Tosca, Rosenn in ‘’Le Roi d'Ys’’and Cio-Cio-San. Since 1923 she was also a member of the Grand Opéra in Paris. In 1924 she appeared at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysés in Paris in the premiere of the opera ‘’Les Burgraves’’ of Léon Sachs. Several times she made guest appearances at the opera houses of Nice, Marseille, Vichy and Bordeaux. She also sang in Antwerp, Lüttich as well as at the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels and in 1924 appeared at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo as Mélisande in ‘’Pelléas et Mélisande’’. After her retirement, from 1927 to 1949 she worked as vocal pedagogue at the Conservatoire of Paris; famous soprano Régine Crespin belonged to her pupils.
