Anna Maria Turchetti (Soprano) (? 1896 - ?)

After the First World War she had a significant career as a dramatic soprano at the famous operatic stages of the Italian province. In the 1920-1921 season at Teatro Verdi in Trieste she sang the role of Isolde in ‘’Tristan und Isolde’’ and the Anaide in ‘’Mosè in Egitto’’ by G. Rossini opposite Nazzareno De Angelis in the title part. At the Teatro Comunale in Forli she appeared in the title role in A. Catalani’s ‘’Loreley’’. Her sister Ofelia Turchetti appeared at the same time almost in the same repertoire at the same operatic stages and specialized especially in R. Wagner’s operas.
