Giuseppe Sorgi (Bass) (Santa Flavia/Palermo 1874 - ?)

He studied singing under the pedagogue Gaetano Ortisi. Probably he made his debut in 1899 at the Teatro Politeama in Sassari in ‘’Carmen’’. Already the next year he sang at the Teatro Dal Verme in Milano. Then he made successful guest appearances at Barcelona (1902/1903), Alessandria (1903), San Paolo (1904), Belem (1905), Buenos Aires (1906), Montevideo (1908), Lima (1910), Havana (1911) and Lisbon (1914).
